Dan Nowak, entering his third season as a writer on AMC's acclaimed crime series The Killing, is penning the script.
The project, described as being similar in tone to The Departed and End of Watch, revolves around a corrupt vigilante group.

The crime thriller marks the first project set up by Bryce, who established a first-look deal with the studio in May. The veteran line producer worked on the three Transformers movies for Paramount as well as the studio’s upcoming Pain & Gain and World War Z.
For Theron, the Paramount project is the fourth feature grabbing her involvement in recent weeks. The actress recently signed to co-star in Seth MacFarlane’s comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West and, as revealed Friday by THR, is working with director Fred Savage on Ladies Night, a comedy for Skydance.
She also is attached to star and produce an independent adaptation of the Gillian Flynn novel Dark Places.
Theron is repped by WME and Hansen Jacobson; Nowak is repped by WME, Anonymous Content and attorney David Fox of Myman Greenspan.
